Employee Benefit Review Service

Company Sponsored Pensions.
 (A). Defined Contribution Pensions:

  • Group Personal Pension Plans; or GPP’s
  • Group Stakeholder Pensions.
  • All occupational money-purchase schemes such as Comps & Cimps.

We understand that many companies are concerned about the cost and risk associated with running a company pension scheme. In an increasingly changing environment, it is important for employers to frequently assess their pension strategy to ensure it is ‘’fit for purpose’’ and that it delivers value for money. Our Employee Pensions Review Service will look at all kinds of existing Company sponsored pensions. This enables employers to undergo an important exercise in ensuring they and their employees have value for money. Whilst at the same time they ensure that they meet legislative requirements and monitor the associated risks with overall employee benefit provision.
At the same time, we can assess other factors of your pension scheme including:

  • scheme charges;
  • scheme communication;
  • scheme structure;
  • investment strategy;
  • scheme efficiency.

Our Pension Review Service begins with an initial fact-finding consultation and discussion. This will allow us to exchange ideas, identify costs, and establish if true value for money is being achieved. This initial meeting can take place either at your offices or at a mutually convenient location. Following this, we can provide you with a discussion document to explore your options going forward.
Where suitable, we can arrange for further consultations to enable us to prepare a paper on your existing pension strategy.
It is rarely the case that a completed audit doesn’t unearth potential:

  • cost savings;
  • administrative efficiencies;
  • increased communication opportunities;
  • superior asset allocation
  • increased value for money.

On many occasions, we have been able to identify methods to:

  • reduce member charges;
  • provide additional communication;
  • improve administration processes;
  • reduce or eliminate employer fees;
  • reduce risk and liability on an existing pension setup.

In certain instances, these objectives can be achieved without g major structural changes to an existing arrangement. And almost without exception prove a cost effective exercise.
